Day 7: Nashville, TN 7/7/15

We started out the day with Waffle House because Jeremy had never been there before!  He liked it :)
We picked the pups up from the pet resort and they were exhausted.  Cole managed to chew through a leash so that stunk but over all they got a good report.
We dropped the pups at the hotel to rest and we headed into Nashville.  We went to the park first but it was too hot to walk around in the afternoon.  So we headed to the Grand Ol' Opry!
(Jeremy's selfies make me look strange and long in every picture...)
We didn't do the tour because it was kind of expensive for people who aren't huge country fans but we spent the rest of the afternoon walking around the Opryland hotel.

We then took a ride to the Titan's stadium and found out they have free parking off season!  So we parked there and they have an AWESOME pedestrian bridge that you cross the river at and end up right on Honty Tonk Street.  They have live music blasting from every bar and you could hang out there bar hopping all day (and many people do).

We walked around there for a bit and were starting to get hungry so we looked up a BBQ joint because you HAVE to get BBQ in Tennessee!

Along the way we passed the country music hall of fame where they were having an outdoor concert to celebrate an album release.  We hung there for a few but you could see a thunderstorm was a brewing so we kept moving.

We ended up at Peg Leg Porker.  It was SO GOOD.  We got dry rub ribs and pulled pork with some sides.  The thunderstorm started while we were there so we just hung out and enjoyed ourselves while we waited for the rain to stop. After that we headed home after a long day of walking.

Next Up: Nashville Day 2
